ART Engineering Inc. has been retained by Victoria Capital Corp as the structural engineer of record for the design and construction review of a nine (9) story apartment building located at 2225 St. Laurent, in Ottawa, Ontario. The project maximizes the use of the lot with the addition of approximately 120 units, complete with three levels of underground parking.

2225 St. Laurent Apartment Buildings

ART Engineering Inc. was retained by Shoalts and Zaback Architects. Inc. as the structural engineer of record for the design and construction review of a three (3) story apartment building located at 27 Wright Crescent in Kingston, Ontario. The structure consists predominantly of light frame construction supplemented by concrete masonry unit cores and fire separation. Once completed, the 40 unit apartment building will provide the community with 10 rent-geared-to-income units and 13 affordable housing units.

ART Engineering Inc. was retained by the United Counties of Prescott and Russell to perform a Building Condition Assessment (BCA) and Capital Fund Study (CFS) of three storage domes and three garage/shed structures located throughout the United Counties. As part of the BCAs, the foundation, superstructure, building envelope, roof, interior, construction and finishes, life safety systems, elevators, mechanical systems, electrical systems and site components were inspected at each building, and a list of recommendations for future capital fund allocations was made based on the findings.
