ART Engineering Inc. was the only prequalified engineering firm, chosen from a list of design firms across the country, to engineer one of the largest and most complex scaffold systems ever constructed in Canada. The system incorporated many unique geometrical shapes and design challenges which included maintaining public access using aesthetic hoarding through the gallery interior, as well as ensuring the access scaffold followed an artist’s conception of a trapezoidal iceberg.

AEI services included:

Design both the interior and exterior Total Systems Access Scaffold (TSS).

Steel framing designs (steel beams).

TSS individual segment design.

Extensive wind bracing.

Cladding anchorage designs.

Permanent roof anchorage review, installation, and certification.
