This 90 year old concrete arch structure required renewal which respected it’s heritage value and addressed it’s significant deterioration. AEI's scope of work included a topographic survey, geotechnical investigation, hydrological assessments. A specialized geotechnical program was instituted and a structural corrugated steel plate pipe arch liner was designed, complete with new footings bearing on rock, which met the requirements of the crossing and allowed the client to phase capital costs over several funding cycles.

Lower Cup Lake Culvert Rehabilitation

To accommodate an average annual growth of 40%, ART Engineering Inc. engineers took it upon themselves to design their own custom office space after purchasing a local parcel of land. The 6000 sqft commercial building was designed and facilitated entirely by ART Engineering Inc., including all construction management, structural and architectural design packages, mechanical and electrical layouts. the result was a robust design including features such as structurally insulated roof panels, and radiant heated concrete slabs, exceeding Canadian code requirements.

The existing Otter Creek Bridge consisted of a deteriorated concrete superstructure, which required a sensible and practical replacement. AEI's scope of work included all field investigation works, coordination of topographic surveys, geotechnical investigations, and underwater investigations. As part of the superstructure replacement design, existing foundations were to remain but required rehabilitation to ensure the structure was compliant with current codes.
