Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking a Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in inspecting, evaluating, and maintaining crane systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and optimize operational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of crane systems, including mechanical systems and safety features.
• Utilize inspection techniques and equipment to identify potential defects, wear and tear, and safety hazards.
• Analyze inspection findings to determine the integrity and performance of crane equipment and provide detailed reports to clients.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement corrective actions and preventative maintenance plans.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to crane safety and inspection.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding crane operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer Designation (P. Eng) in Ontario
• Previous experience in crane inspection, maintenance, or engineering is required.
• Familiarity with the collowing codes and standards: O. Reg. 241/23, CSA Standard Z248-17, Electrical Safety Authority SPEC-009 R0
